Question: Can you please guide me how do we add JSP support to a hosted domain on our Windows server with Plesk?

Answer: Please make sure that this solution work on Windows 2003 server with Plesk Panel and Plesk PowerPack installed.

To activate JSP (Tomcat) for any domain, go to

Plesk -> Domains -> <domain.tld> -> Web Applications -> Java Application (tab).
Then click on "Switch On". Once this is enabled you can upload your war file (through Plesk ofcourse) and Plesk will set this up.

Unfortunately, Plesk doesn't have this option available as part of a domain template.

Also, you can stop / start specific Java applications under the domain section mentioned above.

Tomcat server can be restarted from

Go to Plesk -> Server -> Services Management. Then check Java and click restart.
